I am feeling very motivated with the new year starting. David and I set a few goals for ourselves last night and mine are as follows;
1) Get dressed/makeup/hair done more often
2) Cook dinner at least 3x a week
3) Read a book (that isn’t a girly gossip book)
5) Lose 20 lbs this year
6) Whiter teeth
This morning I set my alarm for 7 because I want to start waking up before Valentine so I can have some time to myself to relax, maybe have some God time, shower, etc…but I set my phone on snooze and slept until 8.30, when Valentine has been waking up. I thought well my first intentions of today didn’t happen as planned so lets get a move on and start pressing forward. I fed Valentine and we headed off to the store to buy some yummy food! I got my Starbucks Americano with half&half and hazelnut and was on my way. This really goes against #’s 5&6, but it is really something I look forward to the second I open my eyes! I went to Whole Foods and had so much fun. I thought to myself ‘I could wake up and come here every day’, but yea that is not really something I’m interested in. Here is what my cart contained:
-Wild Rice Stuffed Pork Loin
-Green beans with carrots
-Orange and red Bell Peppers
-Loaf of bread
-Bags of Salad
I am so excited. Tonight we are having the Pork Tenderloin, Green beans, and Mashed Potatoes. I am not a very experienced cook, so tomorrow I will let you know how our meal turned out.
Valentine is going to go down for a nap in about 15 minutes and I am going to do a little work out on TV.
I mean it really is a great day.
