This year on Valentines Day it was a little different because Valentine was in school. Bummer. I have a feeling when she is in elementary and before she is in High School with a boyfriend, that I will convince David to take her out of school for their annual date. It's been almost a week and we still haven't performed our traditions. Maybe next week?

What we did do, however, was go to my parents house for a family dinner. It was perfect. My mom made steaks and we hung out. Charlie and Alissa brought my 2.5 week old nephew, over. My kids were running around having a great time and wishing their cousin Landy (I coined a nickname? perhaps?)was there.

I couldn't have asked for a better day 🙂
