Product Review: Moroccan Oil Treatment

M. Oil Treatment

 This product is for:
-all hair types

How I use it:
-I apply this product on after towel drying the hair.
-Keeping it only on the mid-lengths and ends so that there is no oily build up on the roots.
-This product is designed to help speed up drying time and protect the hair from the heat of the blow dryer and heat styling tools.
-After I blow dry I apply a dime sized amount to the ends of the hair to help define the layers and seal the cuticle. Closing it off to any mositure that might make the hair frizzy.

I give this product a big thumbs up!

Product Review: Volumizing Mousse

Got Volume
These three products, Moroccan Oil Root Boost, Moroccan Oil Volumizing Mousse, and Aquage Uplifting foam, are designed for achieving volume. I love them all equally and interchange them at the salon because they are all fantastic products.

I originally heard about the Moroccan Oil products when I worked at DryBar in Dallas, Texas. Talk about BIG TEXAS HAIR. This Volumizing Mousse is designed to act as a primer for your blowdry. It gives a flexible hold that doesn’t build up on the hair. You can use this product everywhere from scalp to ends. The Root Boost is designed specifically for your roots. It thickens the hair strands enabling the hair to become bigger and fuller.

I first heard of the Aquage Uplifting foam in this post from one of my favorite bloggers, Kate from The Small Things Blog. You just section off your crown and spray in the foam. It is awesome! You spray it on and it grows! This product leaves a little bit of texture in your hair which is what seems to give you the most volume.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think? Do you have any favorite mousses of your own?
