A Special Christmas Day with Grandma

The kids and I got to have a much needed GRANDMA day today! My mom took off work and we celebrated our Christmas tradition of going to see Santa and drinking hot chocolate. We added making cookies to the mix this year! V seriously had the best time using the cookie cutter and cutting out her special cookies!

Both the kids did a great job talking with Santa, and I honestly don't remember what V asked for. Yikes! Hopefully it is still that candy cane 😉

V was so excited to tell Grandma all about her elf Macy that got all caught up in the string of lights this morning!

This might be my favorite day in the month of December because for once my mom and I don't have anything to do and we focus on the kids and Christmas!

2.0 and I out on the town is always fun! We grabbed my fav, (at the moment) a tall coffee in a grande cup with ginger bread cream and extra room – no breath – and headed to J.Crew to find an outfit for his Christmas picture. I think you can agree that little boys just don't get any cuter than this!

J.Crew was hosting a 40% off sale! Yay! I purchased this button up and sweater for $43. I don't usually buy new so after a small gasp, I convinced myself this outfit. although a splurge, is worth the investment.

The pants are Target $8 and the boots are Walmart $13.50!

(SIL- are you excited to get this hand me down?!)

Not to mention, I got a fantastic deal on these portraits at JcPenny. They always do a great job and are very nice! Today it literally took all of 10 minutes. I put Valor down, she snapped 4 pictures, I picked the one I wanted and DONE!
